The leg of
the terrracotta horse was fractured. The smaller
image shows the old pin and the clear cut surfaces
of the fracture, indicating previously man made
surfaces. The horse was restored using reversible
materials.

the surface and the patina was severely
deteriorated and needed maintenance.

glass that was broken during transport. The
fragments were joined using a synthetic resin.

figure that has been TL tested by two laboratories
and was authenticated as a genuine antique.
However, after x-raying the figure it was obvious
that it is a assembly of pieces and not original.
